Yesterday I wrote about the decision one encounters when starting a business and that is do I choose to speak with people or not. The first reason people fail in business and this applies to both categories is running out of capital. This isn’t really a good reason at all but it is none the less. The only thing that will make you fail online is you. It’s not like a traditional business where you will be forced out if you cannot pay rent or pay employees-there are always free and low cost steps you can take to funnel in traffic.
The next reason is worrying about money-don’t you think people can feel it if you are all wrapped up in your own desperation to make a sale. Remember the old saying don’t quit your day job? Prepare for cashflow coming in-funding a successful online business is like buying a nicer Honda Accord $2000 down and several hundred per month. Most people can afford this, but not when they use their own money and strap themselves with debt. There are so many outrageously successful entrepreneurs who got started for $10,000 with no system or proven product line, so there is no reason the average Joe can’t succeed here.
Do some people up and quit-before they make $$ yeah, but it’s OK if you phase out too.
