What Is The Secret And How The Heck Does it Apply?
What is the magic dust??? There is a lot of people who want success and the secrets to whatever it may be, and then there are the people who go out and get it. What do you say to the person who wants success, but isn’t bridging the gap. The person is hopeful but not in action. Why is this, it’s a self image issue. “You can never out perform your self image.”-Shane Krider founder Liberty League International. If people have a deserve-ability issue or have no conception of themselves becoming successful or see themselves struggling and not making it, then they will demonstrate this image. That’s the Secret, we get what we think about.
A home based business is much easier than a franchise or traditional business or chasing the corporate dream. The work may be much easier than say selling cars 70-80 hours/week where you check people’s credit, overcome objections, show up to work on time, deal with your boss. But as an entrepreneur you have to think like one. What about prioritizing my time? What about ROI? The most important thing is the shift in mindset. Placing ads and calling people is easy compared to most jobs or traditional businesses. This is the razor’s edge difference that gives people outrageous results. In a job, we think we attain expert status when we work our way up the latter, but as a business owner you gotta have it now.
Now we have Kiyosaki and Trump with their book, Why We Want You To Get Rich. Think these guys know about wealth? They want us all to make the shift. They want us to let go of everything we think we know about business and just be the leader. What do most of know anyhow? 3% are truly wealthy. It’s true, you work hard for little money. Big money is easy. Build systems. Shift from employee/self employed to Business Owner/Investor. Must shift away from the educational system we are raised with. School teaches us to be cogs in a wheel in the corporate world, not to think for ourselves. We have been sold on doing work so we can advance, kinda like dogs doing tricks for biscuits.
To make the shift one has to take the risk, and jump for it. But it’s not so bad. BELIEVE ME. Get rid of old conditioning, find the curriculum and follow it. This industry is a way to learn about business and use it to manifest anything we want in our lives. To get away from being a cog in a wheel and thinking different about ourselves and our limiting beliefs. Clear away everything your best thinking has gotten to this point. Making money is easy when you know how and this is what we do. This is about transformation. Side note, I am big fan of Harry Houdini in how he was an amazing marketer and someone who really transformed himself. This shift is fun, we pay a much higher price in the “real world.” College tuition, loans, jobs, commute, time, work clothes, business trips. This takes a tole. Do I deserve to make more money in less time? If we don’t feel we deserve it we will not have results. In Liberty League International, the work is in who we are being rather than what we are doing. Place ads, Interview people, Follow Up. If you believe you must work hard this will be hard. Not thinking of the end but thinking from the end. The end feels good, there is gratitude there as well as confidence and a long list of other emotions. Now it’s time to do the “activities” the work is on our mindset. Working on clearing out anything that has gotten in the way of us achieving what we want, getting into why we are doing it in the first place, reveling in the feelings of having it now, this is the work. Once the slate is clean possibilities appear, so what will we do with it. An entrepreneur builds on this. They find out what success looks like and follows it to the letter. Not so bad, right? They build the system. The system does the work.
